At M’n’N Records we take Mental Health and Wellbeing extremely seriously. We need to encourage people to talk. But more often than not this is the hardest thing to do. The overwhelming stigma means that people often avoid going to therapy in case they are judged, let alone open up to family or friends. We have teamed up with CALM, the Campaign Against Living Miserably, the leading movement against suicide.
CALM provides lifesaving support to its anonymous service users. Donations are vital in supporting the services the charity provides.
As part of our commitment to their amazing work, we will be making donations through the sales of our merchandise which is available to purchase via our online store.
Music is a powerful tool and we hope we can reach those suffering in silence and encourage them to seek help and speak out.
The Lost Hours Walk is a fundraising event organised by CALM aimed at highlighting the fight against suicide and remembering those we have lost.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and restrictions on gatherings, the big event could not take place this year. We therefore organised our own mini event and our team were all committed to taking part and fundraising to ensure that the charity still received essential funding which is vital if they are to continue with the work they do.
On Sunday 25th October 2020 the M’n’N Records Team walked 13 miles and raised £143.40. We would like to thank everyone for your kind donations and your support. Although we did not reach our target, we are extremely proud of our team for their commitment and raising international awareness in countries such as USA, Canada and Malta.
